Winning in the world of internet home business, earning money at home and web promotion is not easy. I find it very frustrating but at the same time interesting as well. As I check the stats each day, I’m hoping to see improvement. But most of the time therre is some ground gained, and at others times lost. I’m not sure what is actually happening here but I keep persisting.

I keep trying new things hoping that something will stick and give me an advantage over other sites but alas it has proved to be slow going. I know internet marketing is a slow process that needs to be given time to succeed. I haven’t given up, and I won’t. At the end of the day it feels like I’m flogging a dead horse but I know eventually something will fall into place that will work.

My website Earning Money By Reading Emailsis not the best designed site on the web but at least it is pulling some traffic on its own. This has been a long slow process and I guess it will take a while longer before I will see the results I am after.

One thing I haven’t done for a little while is update the content on my site, but finding quality content to put on my site has been a small issue in itself. I think I should be broading the scope of the site, so to open up a few more opportunities that I could exploit in the future. I know there is an unlimited content on the web to use, as well as using my own but I think it comes down to me being a bit fussy in what I what to appear on my site.

The thing is I want to put stuff on my site that others will find useful without putting too much to overwhelm visitors and at the same time improve the content that is already on there. How I do this, I don’t know. Also having a lack of time is not helping considering I work all day, and sometimes when I get home all I want to do is chill out.

So there you have it, I need to find more time somehow to get my site up to scratch so that I can begin to get visitors to it, so that maybe I can earn a little extra cash.

Web promotion is not that simple to do. In one sense it is, as you can find a wealth of information across the internet but the value of some of these is almost zero. And at the same time confusing to anyone new to this.

I’m not that experienced in web promotion but I do try a few different ways to promote my website Earning Money By Reading Emails, and I will share a few tips with you. Most of which I find by googling different keywords on search engines.

1. Directory and search engine submission.

There are many different submission sites on the internet that allow you to submit your website to them for free, or for just putting a small link back to their website. They are mostly easy to use, and can get you some links. All you need to do is google for these with keywords such as search engine submission, free link submission etc, and you will find quite a list of them.

I’m not sure how useful some of these are but I do use these, and they seem to work.

2. Blogs.

This is a new method for me, but blogs are a good way of getting backlinks to your site. Backlinks help to get your website noticed more by search engines. There are many blogs on the internet covering many various topics and they are easy to find. You just need to search for them on google or another search engine, and you will find plenty. This method is time consuming but by all reports does work if you put in the hard work.

One point to note when doing this is to make sure you actually read the blogs, and make your comments relevant to them otherwise your comment may not get approved by the owner.

3. Article submission.

Yet again, a new method of web promotion for me. This is something that will take time to do, there are many different sites that you can join to submit articles to. And they do help with your site getting noticed by search engines as well as they too brovide backlinks.

The biggest problem I see to this is writing articles that are of interest, and are unique. When I first started, I didn’t even know where to begin with ideas, but now I am starting to improve. The biggest tip I can give you is to write about somehing you know, that a way you can’t go wrong. you may not be entirely correct but if you write about what you are doing, it makes it easier. I guess over time you will become more experienced in doing this.

Do you want to make cash?

On the net, income opportunities to earn money at home are limitless. But to find the ones that are worth your time and effort is another story in itself.

There are so many to be found, if you believe the hype of some of them, you would be a millionaire many times over. They make it sound so easy, and show all types of proof just to get you in. The only ones making money is the ones promoting these sites. They are so easy to find, and promise you riches beyond your dreams but from my experience, if something sounds too good to be true, it problbly is. A lot of these are scams, or at the very least you need to get in at the top and basically feed off everyone else below. The people making all the money are right at the top of the tree.

So how do you know what is a good one to join and which ones you should stay away from. You don’t. I always do a little bit of research on search engines like google to find out what others think. I also have a rule I always follow, if they want money to join, I just don’t bother. Its not because I think I’m going to get ripped off, its more because I do this as a hobby, so I rather not spend money to make money. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on how they approach this.

Most of my efforts so far have basically been in ‘Earning money by reading emails’ programs, and doing surveys, which don’t actually earn you a lot of money but they do give you some extra cash. As of late, I’ve been looking at other methods as well like affiliate programs whcih can earn you money from your website but there are many to choose from. I haven’t really been successful so far in making money from them yet, but I’m hoping to in the future.

One thing that is of high importance that you can’t forget if you are trying to earn money at home from the various income opportunities available, is web promotion. This is one area where I really do fall down in, as there are so many different ways to go about approaching this. To me, this is a trial and error approach. I try something and if that doesn’t work I try somthing different. To me, if you try a few different ways, maybe something will stick. If not, try another.

I know to be successful in making money on the internet, you need to spend time and effort, which I am short of, which as previously mentioned, I see this more of a hobby than a business.
